what happens if I pull this knob marked 'S' ?, engine turns over (without starting)

I did something similar back in the late 60s. At my friend's house, him and his dad under the plastic pig. Me in the driving seat. What does this large, unmarked, round button do? Oh, it's the starter. I didn't half get a mouthful.

I had similar when I had an op on my sinuses, I knew I had a packing in me nose but when they pulled it out is was like a ribbon about 6 foot long, I did ask him if his name was David Nixon, (younger members will probably have to google that)

I had similar in my ear after an op to repair the ear drum, my ear felt horribly bunged up and full, after a few weeks the packing was removed and that was about 6ft as well.

I normally keep my tape on a roll, not in the cat.

The advantage of using the cat is that when you hit it hard on the head its mouth closes and cuts the tape to length.

i got the mouthful for pressing the car horn while they was under the bonnet and i still do it

come on the on there face and then bang as there head hits the bonnet it was an accident yeah right whilst im sniggering away in the drivers seat

I do exactly the same,The inner child just makes me do it, The other thing i do is make a low hissing noise when someone turns the water back on or gas after doing pipe work

When I put my cordless tools away now I try to leave the direction button in halfway, to prevent this very same thing.

I pulled the trigger by accident on something in the back of my van years ago...

Rolling around loose under a load of wood... safety pin had fallen out, pulled at a bit of wood and set off a powder extinguisher.

Made a fair ol mess

I once drove a van load of kit and conveyors from Northampton to Manchester with a cordless drill whirring away in the back after the load shifted a bit, it was too well buried under the load to stop it, just about lasted the journey before it went flat.
