Glad the twins were OK,
The amount of clothing I have damaged/melted in the past. Now mandatory dress included a cheapie aldi leather apron. It has been bitten by an angle grinder once, but very minimal damage, I bought a couple of the aprons when Aldi used to sell them occasionally, Including a pair of thick welding/burning gloved they were £4-99 per set, They have not had them in for quite a long time now, Aways wise when you find a bargain to but more than one!!
Nice warning Alan, ( But a bit boring)
Thats ok i don't mind aslong as you had a giggle, My mates dad was into old cars and once took a Morris 1000 out to test drive it and then parked it the garage, He had the bonnet up and stood in front of the car which was warm in gear and had the ignition on, His hand found its way onto the bulkhead and pressed the starter and he was run into by his own car and squashed againt the garage wall.
I was following a Discovery down a narrow country lane when it came to a sudden stop and the driver got out and rushed to the back to let out a terrified spaniel from the back that looked to me like it was frothing at the mouth.
Turns out the spaniel, which was not much older than a puppy, had been chewing on a large can of expanding foam and managed to puncture it... cue one very sticky dog and car interior!!!
I noticed a short length of PTFE tape sticking out of my cat's mouth, so I pulled it and about a metre of the stuff came out.
did u let it out and it had a leak on the lawn afterwardsI noticed a short length of PTFE tape sticking out of my cat's mouth, so I pulled it and about a metre of the stuff came out.

I had similar when I had an op on my sinuses, I knew I had a packing in me nose but when they pulled it out is was like a ribbon about 6 foot long, I did ask him if his name was David Nixon, (younger members will probably have to google that)it was like that string of hankies magic trick
