So, fusion 360, I need a "simple version" so the grandkids and me can start off. I'm looking at the different versions, someone mentioned a free low capability one. This would sound sensible, my question is does this need the same computing capability as the full blown version? If so I think we have to buy a new pc or laptop... Boogar!

Onshape is free and uses much less computer power than on-PC CAD like Fusion or Solidworks so works okay-ish on less powerful machines.

F360 has a free version but it's not simplified, it just has some restrictions. I have a basic (gen 8 processor) win 11 laptop that runs it but had to upgrade to 16gb ram to make it usable with fusion. I use onshape and have no problems. Just try them all and see which you like or works best, then stick to it. A few threads on here asking the same and everyone has different preferences.

Fits other than the external thread is a size or too, too small. The filter fits in fine, just the lid flops on rather than screwing on. Internal dimensions and height are correct. Would anyone be willing to adjust it for me?
The thread it needs, is measuring roughtly 62.8mm OD at 19TPI. Any ideas?
