Some house numbers for the gate & post in grey PETG. Given a light sanding and about to be sprayed in some eye wateringly expensive, paint & primer in one, Titanium Silver. Hopefully there'll be enough to spray the mock gate hinges when they're done.

I'll probably get my lad to revisit the screw on ones and do a keyhole / slip on, screw less detail at the back but they can go on the same screws.

I designed and printed this today. A little box so I can lose all three at the same time

Couple hours of reverse engineering and using the printer scanner trick because I'm anal about it being millimetre perfect and I have a functioning test piece!

Ended up breaking one today, mostly because it's is a very crap design nothing to do with also being heavy handed

Since it's impossible to buy a replacement or parts for this keter clamp without also buying the folding table now I know it works I'll make it more ergonomically like the original and send it off to jlc3dp to be made via SLS nylon so should be as strong as the original part.

Also has one half print before the supports somehow got knocked/popped off so that was a first for me in failure modes!

Got my lad to revisit the gate letters. These new ones then have slots so they slip over the screws:

The face of the letters has the stippling effect from the Bambu bed. For some reason there's a blemish on the 7 & 6.

Weird as there doesn't appear to be any imperfection on the bed?

I am so impressed with modern 2D printers.
Had a bit of a brain fart, and ordered a 1. 1/4 BSP Geka fitting for new hose system. instead of the 1. 1/4 hose-tail to go in the lay flat hose from the discharge pump in the stream!! Dooh
So 20 mins in CAD and drew up adapter. solid infill in a lime green PETG
Only 2 things wrong, didn't get dims of thread right, undersize by about 1mm or less (used theoretical minimum root from ZEUS book. Cad used truncated thread) so stupidly tight, and didn't randomise the step line in the print, so there was a visible knit line.
Had to put fitting in vice and use stilsons on the adapter to screw it on, but didn't break.
Stood up to an hour of watering with about 5-7 bar of water pressure.
i was as happy as a dog with 2 dicks

So new milwaukee m12 sander is brilliant but did not fit onto poor Henry.

So 5 mins in fusion made the adapter, printed in pet-g cf, and fitted up so now can da without too much dust.

My lad drew & printed a rubber cap in black TPU to finish off a bit of D buffer on my gate:

Designed and printed a slide on cover for the ring camera, quite pleased it fit perfectly on the first print!

Put the filament dryer on for the second one as quite stringy! Only 1hr 2 and lovely organic supports.

Weird as there doesn't appear to be any imperfection on the bed?

I know this is old, but is there any correlation between where the 6 printed on the bed and where the 7 printed on the bed and the location of the imperfection? That could give you an idea if it is random or if the imperfections coincide, it is not random.

If the extrusion length starts at zero, does the imperfection happen after say 5m of squirt on both (irrespective of physical location on the bed?

The jigsaw collet needs to flex/open quite a lot to insert the blade and to seat the bayonet. I wonder if it could work better with one/two slits (across its diameter) rather than three.

You could probably make similar for a sabre saw (sawzall) blade.

Made a MiniBell!

Managed to get multi colour printing working on my prusa mini by setting up the 2nd extruder with M600 trick for a flush text. Doesn't look as good as I'd like because of the gaps in the white filament makes the text look "dirty" or has dust in it because of the shadows but good enough although I think it might look better if I turn up/down elephant foot compensation or it wasn't face down on the bed getting squished as back looks better.

600 magnet retaining clips as each FreeBell needs 2 magnets so much easier than trying to epoxy them in!

Also attempted a 3 colour print, not too bad but definitely could be better think I'll have to slow the speed significantly for last/first layers and do ironing plus any suggestions anyone has.

I've used abs before for automotive bits with success but I will be trying some petg instead of abs because it's easier to print.
