A while ago, I inherited this drill set (including the drills):

I can't think of any likely situations in which I'll need a 1/4" or 7/16" drill bit, but there are times when an 11.1 mm drill bit (which happens to be 7/16") could be handy as I don't have that size in any of my metric sets. To save me having to consult my big table, I printed this little holder for the drill set:

Two decimal places is probably a bit ridiculous for a drill bit, but I figured it didn't hurt. Ideally I would have made it a little bit smaller, but getting very small 3D-printable text can be a bit of a challenge without a nozzle change and I wanted to make life easy.

There's something quite satisfying about coming home from work to find things sitting on the printer...

The latter has a weird shaped hole to help wall-mount a corner chisel:

The former hangs on the front of my lathe and gives me somewhere to store the two sets of chuck jaws that aren't in the chuck at any point:

Black stuff is PLA extrusion, grey stuff is SLA.

Now I just need to print something to clean up all the swarf and stuff I've made.

For steel try a toroidal magnet in a poly bag , drag , collect , hold over bin , put hand in bag, hold magnet , turn bag inside out over bin or drop bag in bin . For the rest I have an ancient VAX wet & dry cleaner , made a couple of extra dust bags out of a sq. mtr of thick denim and used strips off a 2 litre plastic milk bottle for the bag mouth reinforcing strips & zig zag sewed then in place so the sealing clip has a lip to hold on to .,

The later Citroen DS have a 3 dial dash. The speedo is marked in either mph or more commonly kph.
I have designed and printed a translucent ring which sits in the speedo hole, showing mph or kph.
I'm touring France soon, my speedo is mph, hence the need for a kph ring.
I used to swap over the speedo heads. I'm sure this would invalidate the insurance.
It took umpteen prototypes because at rest the needles point in different directions.
A niche product for the Dragon's Den, 'I'll take fifty quid for 100% of the design'.

I used to mark my speedo with a red china graph pencil till I got used to living in Germany , then the speed limits had etched the conversion in my head ..never had a ticket in Germany in the seven years I was there , nor on the many revisits & holidays afterwards.

I tried really hard not to laugh.

Some thumbscrews in black PETG with little removable covers. Ordered some M5x16 A2 bolts to go in them. I popped the cover on and rubbed down on 120 then 80 grit wet and dry.

They're to hold some decorative cover panels on the gate pillars that cover the electrical boxes. Shape wise, a nod to the Celtic Cross stainless bits @MattH did me a while back:

I realise this isn't addressed at me, but for the 4-ch ads1115 version, I used ESPhome via home assistant: the board connects via i2c, on GPIO pins 4+5.

The relevant part of the EspHome code, which is uploaded to the esp8266/weimos D1 mini:

edit: I calibrated using (what I thought) was a known load, but I'm wondering now if its right

What are you using for the code?

It's just esphome with a yaml I found on the web.

Current calibration is not quite there yet. This a stopgap until the slowboat delivers something better.

I have the 4 channel one and its pretty good. I didn't fancy starting to put split clamps on every circuit in my CU

I *am* using stc-013s

They can be different, I believe, due to intolerances in the resistors - hence the need for calibrating?

I used my kewtech clamp on ammeter.

I wanted something that measures voltage too so have ordered one if these for the main feed.

TBF: I use UV resin, which is much less flammable than filament.
