Right...driven on (embarrassed) by this thread I'm venturing into the garage.
As I open the door I have to step over the ('kin heavy) 2.3kVA gennie that's right in the way for access. The alternative is lump it deeper into the garage and that's a killer on your own. Then of course back out again when needed. I'd hauled it out to get going when we were having lots of power cuts. Found it needs the carb sorting / changing, I do have another. Not so critical now they've replaced all our overhead lines...but.
So bench space is the order of the day. It's so bad I've had to relocate my nut 'n bolt sorting to the patio table.
Where I stand at the bench is now compromised. I'd made a sliding offcuts drawer like @Screwdriver I think first did. Trouble is I'd slid it out from under the Capri and now it won't go back under. I'll try to pumping the tyres up first. It's either that or the amount of stored tat on top of the Capri. That and the rad gave up an dumped it's rusty load into the drawer.

Do you actually have a VHS player ? When was the last time you sat down with a beer and a kebab to watch "Sooty's magic show" ?
Which is rather inappropriate in this day and age, I might add ..........
I got rid of all mine a few years ago. Four binbags full. Went to the tip, as not even charity shops wanted them.

I tell you what I am short of (yes, obviously that.
), but a SCART to composite lead to get the VHS player working, just looked in the back of the telly. Got one somewhere. The Wii is plugged in to the composite port at the mo. Something else I can't remember when it was last used!

Having a 2000 sq foot garage is a great problem to have. Mines half that size and still seems huge compared to our previous single garage!

Now there's a thing, I'm having a sort out before going to the big island this weekend.
All my spare telephony, routers, sockets, adapters, filters etc can go. I no longer have a landline and I doubt I ever will again. Why keep it? I'll go and find the cable tool too, that can go as well.

One of my in-laws moved house 30 years ago and put his “project” TR7 in the attached single garage.
He never touched it in all the years I knew him apart from piling more overflow stuff from the house on top of it. I got told last year it’s been sold and collected .. there’s hope for all of us yet

Well it's all the fault of you lot that the apple scratter, tree house, <insert any one of a multitude of projects here> etc aren't finished!
