^ Nice regular-sized boxes are quite handy, though. I have a lot of paperback books in shoe boxes because they were the perfect fit, until paperbacks started getting larger. Good luck on getting rid of all those VHS tapes, though. I had a local lad who collected them, but (I think much to his parents relief) he's stopped now.

Nothing wrong with keeping yesterdays Pizza box ,excellent source of thin card with many uses as long as you haven't made it go soggy when you sucked the remains of the Pizza off of it.

Just lost a good friend and I feel one of his issues was his hoarding. Its inspired me to make a start and shift some of the stuff I will never get around to and start to finish a few of the projects. I feel a little purged as I now have some space.

Think I've mentioned it before, my solution was the BIL knew exactly what all the stuff I have is worth and what to do with it. He was 14yrs younger than me so I expected to go 1st but sadly not
Plan B, my best made now has the problem, he's not up on the machinery stuff but can work it out
He can have my SnapOn stuff as payment for getting it all sold and cleared

It has probably shrunk in the wash. I have to keep ticking off SWMBO about this.Yeah,I was full grown at a young age, but have widened slightly over the years. The top snap makes the collar a bit tight now, and the waist tie strap for the bib seems a little bit shorter.

It is a sign that you are not doing anything useful and are available to carry out menial tasks about the house. I keep a small box full of complicated looking items that I scatter about to indicate serious W.I.P.
To let the pies cool when they come out of the oven.
A paper circuit diagram works for me, the larger the better.

Every time we have moved, it has become a bigger exercise. First house used my hatchback, moving out of there involved my CF Bedford and a trailer. Moving out of there to my late grandfather's house was the van, parents car, parents trailer and a couple of trips.
Granddad's house was fully furnished, with a basement full of stuff. Moving from there to the parent's farm 12 years ago involved many trips 9ver 2 months, a rented curtain sider truck, van and trailer and a tip run or several.
The problem is the farm house was also fully furnished, along with a 2000sqft garage packed to the rafters. Some stuff has gone, like a big van load of books to the hospice shop, but I found the easiest way was to build more sheds and put it off until later...

I've got loads of spare parts left from my LandRover years. Old halfshafts, new bearings, gearbox gears and shafts, flanges, drive members.
Lovely steel to turn and mill into other things.
