Today I painted a Punto subframe.
I had to remove it to weld in a couple of small patches so I thought I'd paint it while I was at it.
Weathers been terrible and this won't fit in my blast cabinet, so I blasted and painted it outside between the showers.
2 coats of Interzone 954 which is an epoxy mastic.
No topcoat as this does work as a one coat system.
Another advantage of 954 is it can be immersed in salt water after 30min so a spit of rain shouldn't hurt it.
I used 300ml of mixed 954 to cover both sides of this, another 50ml wouldn't have hurt.
Spray gun was a cheap gravity gun with a 2.5 tip.
I used Jotun Thinner 17 because I didn't have the proper thinner and it seemed to work ok.
