Today I painted a few bits and pieces and tried out the mini spray gun I got from @Piero a couple of months ago.
Very nice wee gun, but it has lods of adjustments so it will take a while to fully get to grips with it.
It was today before I finished, outside, in the dark for the moat part, with a head torch and all the flies and moths from miles around committing harakiri in the wet paint. It's just for protection so I will just leave them entombed.
All grit blasted and done with selemix epoxy primer fully thinner (could have got away with less thinner) and then 2k Ford Tractor Blue
ANI R160-Q spray gun 1.2mm setup about 30psi.
2 coats Selemix 7-413 primer mixed 1000 / 200 / 300 (by weight)
15min between coats, good hour before topcoat.
Then, 2 coats PPG Delfleet F3114 (3 / 1 / 1) by volume)
Belt cover I welded up a few days ago

And another cover for my power hacksaw that was laying about so it got the same treatment.

A cover for my backup compressor that was rattling and breaking up, so I welded some stiffeners across the perforations.
The cover at the back was brush painted the last time I had some paint left over.

And a rotary table I have been threating to sort since I got it a couple of years ago.

Can't decide if I should paint the inside red?
Seems a bit too OCD even for me.
I was going to keep it the original colour but mixed too much blue.
I see I also painted my vice.
your handy at both the prep and the spray gun,
what type of blaster and compressor do you use for these small parts, have similar jobs to do to a few bonnets........
