First time at CNC plasma cutting aluminum, had some very old 1/8" thick diamond plate
from a firetruck I scrapped.
IIRC 100 amps at 40 IPM.
I put the water in the tank up tight to the bottom of the plate, worked pretty cleanly.
Blasted all the parts in the cabinet, as they were very oxidized, and the back was pitted badly.
Also tried out my new HF spool gun on the little 170 amp lunchbox welder.

Finishing up the snowplow mount for the tractor....I'm not up to laying in a snowbank much
these days to finish it sooner....snow has melted, mud wasn't too bad.
For reference, the main spine is 8" sq. x 3/8" thick box tube, the rest is 3" x 4" box tube. Some 3/8" and 1/2" thick plates thrown in for good measure.

Bent and cut 181 springs, on another note anyone interested in 500+ 1mm dia ~25mm long 304ss pins?

Shortened 175 bolts today, just the 700 rollers left to turn then all manual work (apart from assembly) is done.

How are you addressing the cut afterwards ?
Nicking in a new chamfer or some other way ?
I use the grinder with the slitting disc as can only hold the bolt head in the collet so less pressure than parting off with the high stick out. It doesn't squish the end so don't need to dress the cut they screw right in without issue before applying loctite.
