That tip is knackered, replace it. The hole is worn unevenly and will affect you getting a clean square cut.

Your inner tip will likely need changing too.

It's important to keep the tip clean. Use a wire brush between cuts.

The hole in the tip is important. If it gets to big it will not cut properly and off square.

A 205mm long ½"-drive 10mm bit socket, for headbolts.

Completely unneccessary, but i didn't buy a mill and a lathe to use a socket and extension like some peasant.

Made a brass bushing for the kohler starter as unable to find an oilite one (it's 0.75" od ~0.52" id and ~0.465" long ) and a replacement matching part number starter is £50+ which isn't needed as rest of it still works though there is newer engine ones which are £30 but probably won't fit due to different tooth count.

Sold my Blast Cabinet to Brian aka @roofman , cracking chap with an odd accent And a good wife like mine, with patience haha.

Then sold the Lathe, Pillar drill Band saw and Flypress all to one bloke and coal ish so i can deliver it all for him.

What a faff that was to get it out but having gadgets helps

A fish tank/ chill out room. Going to build my long wanted fish tank, not as bg as i wanted as its to costly to run now so a smaller 1500 litre will do. darts area and bit odd for me, a games section and get a playstation or sumat.

Probably but thinking about it I'd have an easier time just turning the motor armature shaft from the ~13.2mm to 12.7mm and get a 1/2" x 3/4" x 1/2" bush though considering how well I've gotten the carb tuned it only turns the engine over like 2 rotations before starting so should be fine.

The worn bush is the original one so it's lasted 40+ years I'm sure a brass one will be fine.
