Few months back I wanted to get some more chainsaw lanyards, but the ones I bought before were not available. Same shop, price had doubled but I got two of their new ones. I realised after they were missing the harness stowing ring
Taken me a while to find some suitable steel rod, about 3-4mm diameter. Bent it up around a 44mm bar and sliced the top to get a load of rings. Slide the webbing on, protect the webbing and weld.
The first two tests went perfectly, but then with the webbing I was messing it up!
Using 1.6mm rods at 50A. They do need to be smoothed off..
