Finished off a bulkhead, it is just to act as a wind break rather than being watertight hence not fully welded and door with no seals. MCA might start to be picky claiming it is a watertight bulkhead if it was fully welded and that would mean scuppers needed to be cut.

Also made up a tiller arm for a different boat.

Made a birch ply garden chair. Anyone recommend an easy to apply UV stable finish?

The plans I used were so so, I’m going through them to add pre drilled holes for the next one - I’ve enough wood for another 3.

I was recommended Epifanes varnish by a boat building friend of mine as very hard wearing. It's not the cheapest varnish but I've had it on my workshop / office stairs for 3 years now and absolutely zero problems that I've spotted. We've also put it on some mahogany stairs we've got between the kitchen and ground floor and it's been holding up extremely well to people and dogs scooting up and down them daily.

Needed something to get in the back of the gutter so i could get the excess filler off, the second pic worked quite well but flew off as i went deeper, so I've done another 2 with a different size abra pad. I might need too prep the face better if there's a next time !

Over the last few months I have built and painted these models. I also designed and made the boxes (3mm ply on the S1 laser) and mounting brackets (pla 40% infill on the P1S).
The boxes are 320mm wide.

Update ! i've got the multi tool out and stuck half a pad either side of a old blade, even better results .... remember you saw it here first ...

Yes, it is an automatic suppression system. There are 5 sensors. I've not set it on fire yet though!
