It seems to be nothing complicated, but it took 2 days of turning and welding. Now the plastic barrel has all the fitting stainless steel fittings.

Made a bit more progress on the footing forms for the new garage (continued from HERE). We temporarily pinned the forms to the bedrock with short pieces of rebar about every two feet to prevent any spreading.
For internal rebar reinforcement, we started by drilling about 60 holes in the ledge (this only took about 30 seconds per hole) and anchored vertical pieces of rebar in the holes with Sika two-component anchoring adhesive. Besides solidly anchoring the footing to the bedrock, they also provide vertical rebar reinforcement while supporting the horizontal runs of rebar. We took the time to configure the rebar properly in the corners.
We should be able to install the rest of the rebar for the footings tomorrow, and if all the stars are in alignment, we plan to pour the footings next week. Then the next step will be to set up the forms for the foundation walls on top of the footings.

...but if we ever do experience a rare hurricane (or an earthquake), at least the foundation won't be going anywhere. Our concrete contractor is quite new at the concrete game, and he's over-building to play it safe, which is OK with me, as I tend to over-engineer just about everything I do.

Bracket for holding a shaft electro eliminator.
Bracket for a roller, usually make from Alu but the boat this is for has stainless table etc so made from 5mm 316 as it will be welded to the table. Nylon was supposed to arrive today but the courier obviously couldn't be arsed as he snapped a pic of a house at the end of the road and said no one available. I hope it is the same guy that brings it on Monday as he will be getting both barrels.
A through deck fitting for 2x 3/4 BSP and 2x 1/2" BSP. Ran out of time so pickling will have to wait until Monday, I will also chamfer and dress off the faces then.

A small bit of wood bothering to make a boot-getter-offer (boot jack) from some reclaimed hardwood.
Mostly with conventional tools, but some CNC to make it somewhat fancy:
I cut the inlay from rubber stable mat. I had to use a down-cutting bit to stop the machine ripping the sheet off the bed.
Finished in Danish oil:

Far superior to the one I made. Same problem though. Dirty wellies, pull off one using the other foot to hold it down. Now you have dirt on the platform. How do you pull off the other boot without getting your sock dirty?

No, that's the problem, unless you use your welly-clad foot for the first one and the boot jack for the second.
Make a double width one, one side for each boot.
