Still looks a little to the right of the rebate. I can see it bugging you all winter and being rectified! Are you going to sort the screw holes at the same time?

Nope, it won't bug me because it is spot on or my eyes and squint, either way it looks good to me
Not sure what you mean by the screw holes but if it is just the wee bits where the titanium wire was holding and thus not anodised then that is no problem to me as they will be covered by the screws

Lifted a compressor into the air to get a sheared reducer out of the drain.

All running for the first time in 15 years. I had it up 150psi with no sign of shutting off so I’ll have to investigate the ancient mechanical pressure switch.

As a wedding guest I’ve often made gifts for old school friends,this one’s for my wife’s goddaughter. Started out with a piece of 25/10 flat.

My drill press has a handle that annoyingly slides into unwanted positions. Fixed it with two loose collars pulled together with a spring. Works well.

After two floods in seven years and the death (bearings) of the previous washing machine, I decided to raise the w/m and tumble drier off the floor by around a foot or so.

Room enough for the t/d, new w/m and the old w/m side by side.

I really noticed the weight of the w/ms so screwed some holey strip across a few joists and used a 1/2T chain hoist to get them in place.
@owas was kind enough to supply the straps - two joined end to end and another two x-ways, meeting at the top.

Still got a stand to make for the chest freezer.

They were and I dont mind admitting and learning from it. I thought I'd kept my ropes well away from the saw but clearly knot. It was dark.
Generally everything else went to plan.

Sadly there is not much daylight left after work and is very limiting what can be done. I started at half 3 and was down by 5pm.
I'd prefer British summer time all year round, sadly work will not let me start and finish earlier.

Made a new disc from POM, to replace a very worn brass one.
The brass one is on top of the new one.
It is a checkvalve in a master brake cilinder of my excavator, I hope it is compatible with dot4.

A bit more tree. Got my saw stuck a few times where stems were pushing on each other more than expected..

Friend cooked me a nice dinner so will cut the stump and clean up, another day.

Not made today but fitted the parking brake lid I made earlier. I like it better than the previous one as I think the raised shape is more in keeping with the brake reservoir lids

Made a start on the repairs to the van after my brain fart crunch ! grill out bumper off and liner out


the panels above the s/ pump have had quite a whack so I had to drill the spot welds to get it to come forewords and I'm going to need a cunning plan to be able to pull if straight as it forms a box corner . that'll be a later date .

I got the dent out the bumper and re fixed the lower grill , and all back in place for now till I work out how i'm going to pull the inner wing bit . No pics of it back together it was dark and cold and I'd had enough .

Also did this over the weekend, ripped out the old bannister etc from stairs and landing, this was part way through.
