I've been looking for some of those for the Surf but can't find any for a reasonable price, M8 bolt with a 12mm head.
I've had to fit a couple of 13mm head bolts as a temporary fix but don't want to mess up the Surf's Karma with an unlucky number bolt!
If you find someone selling them please let me know

They weren't cheap, almost £30 delivered for 4 M8 X 55 with 10mm hex but they are stainless.

How long do the M8's need to be?

I made a Rolla Bolla today for my daughter, who's 15, doing circus skills instead of P.E. in school / college.

It's a balancing board on a pipe thingy.

€50 to €70 euros to buy, honest.

Took me hours to find the correct rods to tig weld the wood together, then I made the tube from buzzards, I smelted on my imaginary roadkill forge.

Classy eh? Or ten minutes at work and 6 screws, she was chuffed, which is all that matters.

She can balance on it loads better than me and juggle scarves, who says modern education doesn't teach kids important life skills ?

I pull boats with our tractor, just because we get bored at work.

Not this one, but the one we nearly chucked in yesterday, wanted to sink, so we quickly pulled it out again, not often that happens.

It's a powered cultivator and seed drill on top. Triple hoppers on this drill so can plant 3 things at once, or as is the case for first fields one crop and fertiliser at the same time.

Just my two cents worth. Have been doing some 3/4"and 1" seamless 316 stainless tubing, forgot there is also 11/4" seamless 316 shed 40 pipe. For a new 'to the area' longliner, tuna fishing vessel.

I will post some better pics when I am completed

No clamps to hold the pipes to walls / bulkheads, they're going to vibrate ? But you know that.

Designed but not yet made. A TTL to AFSK tone generator. My current one in the 30 year old terminal unit I built is susceptible to HF RF and so this is a modular replacement for it which will live in a screened case. It is also opto isolated. Automatic override when the mic PTT is operated.

Nothing engineering related, but my grass got its first haircut of the season - it's been growing at a rate of knots lately and was looking really untidy.

Using a Flymo means that if it gets too 'scraggy' the mower flattens it and doesn't cut properly too long and it blows flat then springs up once you're past. Although it wasn't really dry enough, the forecast isn't encouraging for the foreseeable so it was a case of get on with it. I have combined fertiliser/moss/weedkiller ready to apply but won't doing that any time soon.

I've taken to using a scythe - it has the benefit of being quiet, and that you get to use a grindstone regularly while chewing a blade of grass, and when that's not enough you can hit it with a hammer! All metalworking in one convenient tool.

Today I made a COR-TEN window reveal. Only one to go...
