I was hoping not to use the new steel I bought but ran out of the rusty rubbish I have. So one nice one one scrap heap challenge lol. They do fold for storage aswell. Need to as running out of space now.

Change of plan for those two handwheels now. When I was making that collar earlier, realised that 15mm is close to ⅝", so those two are now going to be used as stands/holders for some things which I've had stored in boxes for years. About time they went in the workshop, where they belong. A few placed on one to demonstrate. I hadn't realised I'd collected so many, over the years, hence why both are needed. Seems a more fitting use for them, IMHO.

Not very likely. Main weight's at the bottom. Plus, most of them are pegged into each other with the pins.
Did consider popping them on the floor, but they're liable to get caught, or covered in swarf etc.

Those blemishes were from my first attempt at embedding magnets inside a print. I think next time I'll put them a bit deeper as they're plenty strong enough and will probably be held more firmly. In progress shots:

Looking good but I would say to either cut a relief groove at the end of the thread or wind the cross slide out at the same time as you release the half nuts. Tools rubbing like that get blunt a lot quicker.I made a video of the Raglan 5" screwcutting a 32tpi thread on a bit of 4" pipe
