I was hoping not to use the new steel I bought but ran out of the rusty rubbish I have. So one nice one one scrap heap challenge lol. They do fold for storage aswell. Need to as running out of space now.They look good, I should make some too!

Wasn't happy with the piece of dowel I used originally, so made a top hat today, for that base handwheel.

Those blemishes were from my first attempt at embedding magnets inside a print. I think next time I'll put them a bit deeper as they're plenty strong enough and will probably be held more firmly. In progress shots:

Looking good but I would say to either cut a relief groove at the end of the thread or wind the cross slide out at the same time as you release the half nuts. Tools rubbing like that get blunt a lot quicker.I made a video of the Raglan 5" screwcutting a 32tpi thread on a bit of 4" pipe
