The slave chip is wired back to a one-wire bus on a raspberry pi that I have under the stairs, I'm using CAT5 cable as I have loads of external grade. Its called one-wire as there is only one data line, but there's +5v and 0v so its actually 3 wires
In (a rather lame) defence of the 1-wire bus, some 1-wire sensors are powered by the data line (which spends quite a bit of time high), so they only use 2 wires: data and 0 V

I think it is just a modern version of sticking a magnet on the meter to slow it downI understood that portion of your post.

Oh, hi! I see the familiar outline of a certain device on your machine. On my similar machine, there are clearly no elements sliding in the 180-degree sector. Could you take pictures from a different angle for clarity?

For the pre-holiday corporate barbecue, I made skewers from INOX 10 * 4 mm. Hour of work. The shops only sell grill grates.

Not 100% convinced Kim, bought my better half something from Louis Vuitton and that was really an experience, not many plces can get away with turning you away telling you thy will send you a text "when we have someone free" then hang around for over an hour until said text arrives.

Also made some brackets for my shelf, hopefully fit this morning as I'm finished work for 5 days, woohoo

Today I put the angle table and vice into the vice on the Chiron then clamped up a bit of 52mm x 20mm aluminium.
I then milled a bit off it.
Flipped over and milled the other side which gave me a 74 degree angle.
Then I put a 10mm slot down it then put a 60 degree engraving cutter down the edge to give me this.
I then cut some 3mm stainless on the plasma and tested out the aluminium in the press to see if it would fold along the edges without distorting at the holes. It worked but it was really too much for the press with the narrow gap in the tooling. I was really meaning to use it with aluminium but had a bit stainless on the plasma so just used that.
Anyway looks like the tooling will work fine.

Rubber?Today I made SWMBO semi happy by laying 30 tons of new surface dressing on the school. It only lasted about five minutes and I was then led onto my next task, can't wait to get back to work
