@Seadog - It's a Harley carb with a velocity stack air filter. It was originally fitted to a Harley Sportster, but kept catching my leg when I rode. I replaced the air filer with a pancake filter. The velocity stack then sat in a box of spares until I came up with the idea of mating it to an old knackered carb, which was cheaper to replace than repair. I'm happy with the end result.

Hi,

I'm now another member with a cyclone dust extractor having just installed casters to finish the job off. It's got 5M of wander hose so I can reach anywhere in the workshop with the extractor being central also I'm going to add extraction to my machines so these can be quickly coupled to the extractor. Bungee cords are used at the moment to secure the cyclone to the bucket. An easy project for a change and one well worth doing.

Bloody enormous. Got it from a skip along with another load of interesting stuff and I am trying to "repurpose" the wacky bits into useful things. I need something to hang my new helmet from, this is going to be it (I hope).

I am also practicing my Tig Brazing, which is getting better.

I put some speed holes in yesterday’s project, gotta be worth an extra 5mph.

Considering the original bracket for the bottle was a piece of flat alloy and a skinny hose clip, this is probably overbuilt 1000%.

Looks good to me, only one question, will it (the hose ) clear the bonnet or is there no bonnet?

No bonnet as yet, but that hose can be moved or modified if required, it’s just a breather, or overflow. The air filter and distributor wires would also be in the way if I fitted a bonnet.
