It sprays their udder before its wiped clean, in the video it was coming on a tiny bit early and catching their legs.

I'm on a roll today, got the adaptor done as per the post earlier, so onward & upwards with the light-box.

At this point I have to give a BIG shout to @eSCHEn who went above and beyond and without whose help I'd never got this finished, due to my complete inability to solder or decipher the wiring instructions which came with the switch.

Here are a couple of pics of the completed thing - difficult to photograph well because of the high contrast but hopefully you'll get the idea. I'm very happy with it.





It's one of a limited edition of 24 'Sublings' by renowned artist Tom McKendrick which were part of an exhibition at The Pier gallery in Stromness years ago.

Little bender to make ss hooks used to hang cast plaster lights.

The lever on the right bends the 6mm rod round the block and the threaded rod stops it at 90°, allowing for overbend. The bar behind clamps the stock with a 20mm threaded rod applying the pressure, that stops the stock drawing out as it bends.
Works a treat and way quicker than bashing them round in the vice.
All bits of scrap from the bin(err.. floor..)

Ah ha- I'd worked out it seemed to be a sprayer of udders from your installed photo - but as I hadn't worked out you rotated udders past it it, I couldn't see the point of a fixed, single point one.

Finished welding these mixer arms today.
All welds smoothed out except the top section that's above product line.

What's the shrinkage ratio on the new lead?

Measuring a sample, they mic at max .3605 on the widest part and maybe .3595 at 90 degrees. The Lee pot I converted over to PWM control with e thermocouple and it keeps the lead at a very stable temperature (+/- 2 degrees). Not sure if that shows shrinkage but the moulds say 358. The weights come out at 125,130 and 187 grains (+/- max 1 grain) for the 3 shapes. I'll be borrowing a .358 sizing die.
