I made one similar earlier this year, Ive since drilled holes for eyes and nostrils. I let it rust so far then clear coated it, will try and get a pig this weekend.

Yeah a template for different pieces then it folds together. First one I did was a dinosaur, daughter got a kit that was made out of cardboard, you cut out the shapes and they folded and glued together, I decided I could make one out of 2mm steel. He got a bit more welding and a rub down after this pic.

I scanned the kits a4 sheets into the computer then printed them out in a3 to upscale it a bit, keep meaning to fit a couple of led lights for eyes.

Now you won’t need to buy another valve spring compressor as you can see the three on the wall

So after the wood being sat in the van for nearly 4 months and thinking with christmas coming and family due round I needed a dining room table sorted.

So not sure if its finished as having second thoughts on the piece of wood chosen but will have too do for now.

So squared up the legs and the ends and built a brace frame to mount the slab on.

Made more clamps for the weld table today. No matter how many you have you're always one short.

Was lazy this time and only cut off some bolts, larger clearance but it's ok.

Removed the zinc coating with citric acid and just gave it a light wire brush. Was surprised how clean the weld came out.

Also made a new bracket for the peg board to organize the clamps better.

Just finished a balustrade on an exterior set of steps,lower rails are punched,then filed at the angle of the staircase & welded underneath.

Great job you've made of those clamps. I don't have any standardised holes in my table yet, but when I build a new one, plan to have some in, and these will come in very hand.

Well I just made something wider.


But as it was the first time I had plugged my Bridgeport in since I got it from @MattH I was extremely please it cut brilliant and did exactly what I wanted from it.



I must make time to use it now it's in place and running.

Ideas to steal, dug out a load of M16 bolts the other week, just need some cheap clamps now
