In which case, good scoreBelieve me, this is a one off. Usually there's nothing of interest.

Not made, but discovered. Damned gales & rain.....Guess what I'll be doing tomorrow......

I don't suppose it owes me much, it's been there for 7.5 years and I reckon it wasn't the thickest grade of felt back then.

Going to do a quick 'n easy repair to keep it wind & water proof, as I have in mind to cover the whole lot in profile metal sheeting, on top of what's there - but not until the spring/Summer arrives.![]()
Well, nothing done to the roof today as it was SO frosty that just looking at the felt would have resulted in further cracking/damage......Neighbour has some felt so we've provisionally set Wed as the day of attack - local forecast if for temps ranging from 11 - 15 degrees [yes, really!] and no rain, so ought to be good to go.
However, it gave me a chance to make progress with the heater. I must try to decipher the pidgin English instructions so that I know what I'm trying to set temp-wise, but random button pushing got it fired up and within about 4 minutes the exhaust pipe was so hot you couldn't touch it.
In fact, I've bought some fire rope to put between the 'heat-sink' and the shed wall....just in case. That'll be for tomorrow, I think. Here's where we are atm [excuse poor phone pics

Hopefully, happiness will be a warm shed......![]()
I wrapped the bit of the exhaust that goes through the hut side in exhaust bandage. Fills the space, and keeps the exhaust temperature down to a safe level. Being a metal hut, I was more concerned with the heat being too much for the ply lining. It works well.
How did you get on with deciphering the 'instructions'?![]()
Got any linksTapping in the drill.
Bought some tapholders from eBay about 8£ each. Seems to be quite ok.
Easy to put in and out and just enough play to find its way in.
This is tapping a M16 blind hole.

Is that just a one size fits all

Never did manage to decipher them. Mine were 4 pages of Chinese instructions, with 8 hand drawn pictures.
Many, many hours of youtube and facebook study got me there in the end. What does your control look like?
The temp control on mine reads more like a voltage adjustment, so by trial and error I found out how to set minimum temp.

Do they have any torque control to prevent the tap breaking if it gets stuck? Or do you have to be very quick on the stop button?![]()
