When using one of these, with the work-piece in the chuck, do you just set spindle speed to slowest and free off the tailstock, letting the die [or possibly tap too] pool it in. Does it stop itself or do you have to hover over the "Off" button, watching like a hawk?

This I believe was originally meant for 2mm ply to be cut either by a small router or cnc laser.
