What welding machine were you using on it, amps etc? Neat welding as well.

Its the ESAB lah 315 mig, making hard work of an easy job because I couldn't be bothered to swap over to 1mm wire.

Not today but a couple of weeks ago.
Daughter number 2 always wanted a puppy but isn't allowed pets in the apartment she bought, (even if she had the time to look after one) so I made her one.
16mm coupler, a few bits of scrap, some 2.5 twin and earth and about 30min.
She liked it, even with the wonky eye.

I know, it's not finished nicely, but it doesn't need to be. I just need a slab to lay some 3x3 battens on to support the shed extension. They'll be bedded on cement fillets to get a level, as is the rest of the shed. It'll never be seen again

2 coats of yellow paint on the shelves, and 1 coat of black on the frame for my welding cart. Ran out of 2mm for the shelves but it’ll get a couple of bits out of the way.
Also made a start on these, a run of 10, I’ve got 2 done so far between other jobs.
Still have a forge to plan and order steel for, a tue iron to work out, a carcass sled and stand and some arches for a JD2140 amongst other things.
Farmers are starting to spend a bit of money round here

It's Shackletime! Wings on, 2 out of the 6 engine pods in place (4 x Griffon, 2 x Viper). Tailplane on hopefully by the end of the weekend. Thousands of BSF bolts to do up but nobody else has any correct spanners. Duh!

It's mine Ian, it's got a 9" keel cooled wood chipper bolted in the hull and used for river/lake tree work. It's in for an overhaul and tart up so it's ready for the end of the nesting season. The trailer mod is to shorten the whole thing up and use the urban artic which will make it more manoeuvrable, trailer,truck and boat only weigh about 18 ton so anything else would be overkill.

I am only 6 ft but find most benches too low to work on. It took me ages to work out how high to make the lathe bench and when I had finished it looked way too high but in use it is perfect.

time to add some more pics
as you can see its coming on now, new bathroom boarded floored and shower tray fitted
the first pic shows where the original stairs came up as its a split level floor this was also where the bathroom was
the 3rd pic shows the new bathroom setout built into the dug out area was there before we worked on it and also where the new staircase is being fitted up to the next level
weve just taken the wall down steel beamed it and rebuilt a new wall as support but also to create a room better
no more kitchen and lounge together but easy access to the bathroom from the lounge
