What welding machine were you using on it, amps etc? Neat welding as well.

Finished the cutnshut and shortening of the boat trailer today, fits the urban artic a treat and its a lot more manoeuvrable. Just the landing legs to fit now and then on to boards, airpipes, wires, brakes and paint.

Friend of mine paints everything he makes a very similar colour and has some "Bob-On" stickers too :-)
I get the impression @8ob never has "spare" time as such and boredom would be sat indoors, but Imight be wrong

Fair play though as looks acool little project.
I am only 6 ft but find most benches too low to work on. It took me ages to work out how high to make the lathe bench and when I had finished it looked way too high but in use it is perfect.View attachment 241226 Technically not today, yesterday. build my brother a new bench to replace the old office desk he’s been using for years. Being well over 6 foot he was struggling to find a bench at the right height for him, most are about 4 inches too low and give him back ache. Fixed that issue.
