I never think the price is unjustified, considering without drawings they have to roughly put the stuff together, work out what its probable use will be and how it may be positioned, so they can put the off centred rough-looking holes in the most conspicuous place possible.They normally like to pepper everything with draining/venting holes and stiff you a quid a pop for the privilege![]()

Started painting the motor
This is the primer , after another hand of rust protection primer (cast iron housing not alluminum) I will paint it in "Pullman blue" or mostly known as "sky blue"

Are names used here in Italy I don't know if is the same denomination as yours but is a colour similar to the NEW HOLLAND blue
It is similar but as here ral 5015 seems to be product in various tonality so is not easy tell which colour isTractol used to do a colour called 'compressor blue' & it was a light blue colour, I think it's now called Leyland Blue. I used gallons of it over the years when all the refrigeration compressors in the plant room at work got their annual painting.
I have found that a needle gun works really well for removing old paint back to factory primer (if there is any) and will get into all the little spaces. You need patience and a decent compressor thoughThis is the colour

Unfortunately I had no way to clean perfectly the motor before painting but it's good enough to me
