Got a small job from an old firm I used to work for.
3 trollies for moving billets to the VMC, machined part to prep, prep to paint.
I do despise 25mm box section. It is never straight and always has a roll on one side of the box but with quite a bit of jiggling these are coming out pretty flat which is the important thing.
All tig. First one took four hours, prep, tack and weld.
Second one has just taken 3 hours.
Let’s see if we can do #3 quicker.

If the swarf is dry I can use a hoover but today I was drilling holes & using lots of oil so the swarf was a sticky mess!




. I may need to mill a 

, and painters arrived to do the exterior woodwork on the house. Base will be the same size with 7" uprights [old bits of 6mm tube at the corners], to stop the bottles tilting. Lick of paint and job should be a good 'un.
