My question white or black pepper??
The majority of recipes I’ve looked at say white, but the recipe I like says black.
Your thoughts greatly appreciated…

The logical thing would be to do one this weekend and the other the next. If you end up with pork pie at the end of the process, it's unlikely to be bad either way.

In my mind, low grade supermarket pork pies taste like white pepper but good ones don't so they either use black pepper or less white pepper.

Got to be short crust pastry for a steak & kidney pie. Mrs C makes a superb one, meat pressure cooked & short crust. You’re not having one …. All mine

Today I finished the small parts on the inside of my mystery object.

The holes still have to be tapped M4. The smaller ones are M3.
It goes with this piece I made earlier.

And for context

It's a number plate light. I couldn't find one I liked so I made one. It still needs the LEDs fitting (and the perspex window) but unfortunately the white ones I bought from RS turned out to be blue and they are not open until Monday.

Is the backplate stainless too or ally? If it's not all stainless, make sure you get a gasket between the two to stop the ally corroding (if it gets wet).
