Travelling to places that don’t use the English alphabet in the days before sat nav was always “interesting”.I have to admit to not knowing how I used to survive without gos. Used to land in foreign lands for work, pick the rental car up and then find the site or hotel. Arrive in Dallas, be handed a map of Texas on an A4 bit of paper at the rental desk . . Got close, needed the boss out in the street waving his arms around to find the right place
Was back to that last trip - my ancient phone refused to connect to the world and so maps app wasn't telling me much.
