I know what you mean. I don't want to wait too long before I can get to it. Hopefully within the next six weeks. There are a few high-priority tasks in the way, such as:I'd do the walls now while you can still see them. Leave it too long and they will disappear.
1. Finish installing our automatic backup generator.
2. Oversee the scheduled grading and repaving of our driveway.
3. Get the dock back in the water for the summer season.
4. Mow the lawn...not an easy task at the moment, because I need to fix the mowing deck.
5. Move our things out of two rented storage units, which means selling, giving away, or trashing a lot of things; otherwise they WILL fill up the garage. My spousal unit is dedicated to the task, and she has already started the process. About ten boxes of stuff have already disappeared. Once in a while she'll ask me if I want to keep something, but for most items she just makes the decision herself, which is probably a good thing, since I have a barely repressed genetic propensity toward hoarding. One of the storage units will be easy to vacate, as it contains my 1954 Dodge M37 project, which will be moving into the other bay of our old garage, which is basically my workshop. We'll be glad to eliminate the monthly rental payment ($440/month for the two units).
I'm fully 'retired,' although the above projects (and others) are essentially a full-time job. It's a good thing that I like doing this kind of stuff.

Can’t beat a bit of necking, purely for some hand made looks, the ready made ones weren’t to his taste,or mine, luckily.
