What are you using to grind into the internal corner like that? I've got a few places I could do with a better finish - for example some chassis repairs need to have the flange welded on rather than bent over, and it would be nice to smooth them out. Can't get a proper grinder in, sometimes I used the dremel-a-like with a carbide burr but it takes ages due to the size of it.

In evenings over the last month or two, I've given my website (which is nearing its 10th anniversary) a rather thorough revamp (partly to make it easier for me to maintain, but also to make it work on mobile phone browsers:

Mostly, a drive shaft nose bearing for the sand muller, machined from a knackered Vincent Rapide magneto drive pinion .
Not sure what grade of Tufnol it is, Whale, Carp, Crow, Vole, Pterodactyl , or whatever, but it fits well enough, and has been barmed up with some helicopter rotor grease that may have been liberated from one of Her Britannic Majesties Establishments many years previously.
Anyway, the bugs are being ironed out, albeit slowly.
Someone's got to do it , and it'll most likely have to be me.....

I use a 1mm slitting disc to tickle down the majority then finish it off with a 75mm disc on a die grinder.

Had a quick look also, duck duck go, white background on mobile.

Cheers, I've been doing that a lot, but the particular parts I want to grind down are quite difficult to get the tools in. I should have ground them down before I fitted them. I bought an arbour to fit 75mm discs in my die grinder, but I really don't like using it - my die grinder isn't variable speed, and without a shield I'm a bit nervous.

I made some cupboard doors to a chimney alcove for a victorian terrace i'm refurbishing.
The originals were long gone, and it would look a bit tatty left as it was. I enjoy woodwork far more than metalwork these days.

Just 100 litres of paint to throw round the job and it won't be far away

They are a pair of pins so I can replace the old, worn out door check rollers on the drivers door on my Jeep ZJ

All back together, roller bearings added along with new hinge pins and bushes

Got the PTM-100 torch holder sorted for the plasma table today and fitted it all up. Levelled the torch and did a few test cuts on 5mm and 12mm. Massive improvement over the old Sl100 torch already. I've still got to play tunes with the torch height control and cut speed, it seems like it likes a few more volts than the sl100 torch.
Anyway it seems to work great on the thermal dynamics power source

Have been playing a bit on a new job. Ex Sydney harbour river cat in for some tlc. Have to remove the props, shafts and couplings. Got the props off, split the couplings and, where's the coupling spanner, no one knows. Measure up the coupling nut with 4 holes, back to the workshop and presto new coupling spanner.

New spanner body from 25mm plate, holes drilled for 10mm pin punches.

Also vessel engineer managed to damage three bolts for the couplings, so it was decided that they would be replaced. Got three bolts from a bolt shop and measured the original bolts only to find they are fitted bolts. So material arranged, delivered that night for machining to be started the next day

30mm hex bar cut to length.

Relief and machined along with center hole.

Shank and threaded section machined

What we must achieve minus the damage.

Three are damaged so I thought that a spare would be advantageous in this case.

Managed to get them all done and not stuff anything up, so ended up with 6. Ah i didn't notice my safety shoes in the foreground
