Silly little job today, but a good excuse to get back in the workshop. The plastic doodad that joins the pull cord on the shower switch broke:

The wooden bit is something I made 15+ years ago in my woodturning days. Anyhow, I went for a bit of 303 SS as I had some 10mm rod:

An hours work, 50p's worth of electricity to heat the freezing workshop and all's fixed:

I made one of those years ago with a 1/4 hp lamp post lathe of unknown origin or age ., it replaced a crimped on red sleeve connector .
