The Haybob wheels were a mess, perished tubes with one really rusty and deeply pitted, chucked them in the citric acid for a day and welded the rim where it was holed
Nice heavy coat of epoxy primer to give the inner tube half a chance
and a splash of colour, aubergine mica for the rims and carnelian red for the equally rusted hub caps is what we had in stock! never going to win any beauty prizes but will do the job
new tubes and sealed C3 bearings and were good to go, once I've made some bearing spacers for the odd wheel...
