Yep mine was the S210 I think. It was just sooooo rusty though. The rear inner arches were totally shot.
For some reason it had a habit of shredding the serpentine belt. First time was due to the clutch on the alternator pulley breaking up, but it did it again soon afterwards with all new parts. We had a very young baby at the time and we needed something reliable so I sold it.
I do miss it though. After seeing yours I’ve been looking on AutoTrader!

SBC problems? The pre-facelift S211s are easily written off by the 'final countdown'.

Today I repaired a Clarkson chuck. The end had been mullered and the thread stripped. A £7 helicoil kit from eBay soon sorted that, and it's M12 x 1.75, so will fit the new draw bar that I recently made.

The end cleaned up nicely in the lathe, too. All I need to do now is to harden and temper the centre that I had to make to replace the one that wasn't there :mad:

Especially for @Barking Mat ,the rotator repaired last week,today I installed it,of the 3 it’s the one stood up nearest to the saw.

That's a beast, now I understand, assuming that's a band saw at the end, goes back and forth.

Nice bit of kit !

Yes,it’s self propelled,runs on 60/40/5 rails,about 12m long,I’ve replaced the rails twice,and they’re special order being 5mm .
The first time I replaced them,I suffered weld fume poisoning,which was on a campsite 2 days later,saw the local GP,who diagnosed it,couldn’t even stand or drive home,next time,used the air fed helmet,the sawdust is impregnated with diesel,which is the lubricant for the blade,causing the nasty fumes.

Repaired this topper blade hub. I wanted to buy a new one for £100, dad wanted to pay me to fix the old one... I do what I'm told. Enjoyed doing it, too.

Dad made me heat straighten the blades on ours once, cost more that a new set in the end, made sure to price bits from then on!

Farmers... can't ever see past purchase cost! I think our lot still live in the old days when there were enough hands on the farm that time just wasn't costed. At all.

Added some twin 5` led tube lights over the workbenchs in the cave a few years ago and had them on plug tops, made me ill looking at them so I bought a couple of fused spurs, switches and wired them in properly tonight.
