The fuel pump cradle on my project needs a bit of work. There's a split in the main 5/16 high pressure line which had been repaired previously with a rubber hose and two jubilee clips. The split is on the inside of a 90 bend and access is quite restricted so I wouldn't be able to cut out a section or even use that fuel pipe/tank repair goo (I'll add photos later). Anyway, as the pipe is quite corroded I would prefer a more permanent repair and am looking at removing the pipe completely by cutting it flush and drilling out any remains, and replacing it - possibly by brazing.
It's a few years since I did any brazing, but would my trusty Mapp gas torch be up to the job? and what brazing rods would I need?
