No noticeable reduction or drop outs, despite what it says
Use the app, use the free trial, although using the app before install told me it wouldn't work in its current location
I wish other isp's would give the same info for comparison, I bet the packet loss and interruption is inline with other providers

Id agree rain doesnt affect it much at all. In the box you get the dish, a cable and a router with a power supply. To run it in a field youd need to supply 240, and the poit to point it to your house.
My dish is on top of our farm shed, as its where the old set up was, so the router is in a water proof box poe to a switch, then point to point to the house and another to the holiday cottages. We normally get about 200 downin the cottages, bit less in the house due to older network kit.

There are a lot of Starlink satellites in orbit now. Looking at the amount of tree cover, a Starlink "dish" flush with, or slightly above the ridge of the roof will probably have no major issues in getting reasonable data rates.
Starlink uses POE and comes with well over 10 metres of cable, but to get 50 metres away will require additional cable, which has bespoke connectors, and is not cheap.
