The pukka job for spraying anything out of the ordinary is an airless spray. Not the little ones though. Proper industrial jobbies. Not cheap to buy but can be hired. They work like a pressure washer - and spray at about 2000psi. No misting as they don't use air. They are just as quick as a pressure washer - it's what they use for painting ships or buildings.

and get the 6x6 running will make things easy. I was planning on running a mains cable, pressure washer line and airline up to the basket with fittings down on the deck. That way things can be plumbed in easily for maintenance on the house.
. The reason being unless you are above the house or in our vegetable garden you can't see them. The second reason (because you can't see them) is to cover them in solar panels so what's the point in spending the money for the slate. Well I've actually got about 10t of second hand Welsh slate to go through in crates but unless we win the lottery (difficult when we don't play) there's better stuff to spend money on.
