I've had the welder for a while now, only really ever needed dip transfer to date and never really tried spray welding...
Over the past few weekends I've tried spray welding mainly on my "Gantry Build", my hand/torch travel speed is a bit hit n miss, need to get more comfortable for spray welding.
So far I've used C4 and F2/F3 power settings, Ar/Co 20% at about 18 ltrs and 0.8mm wire with speed about 9.5.
My question is would it produce better welds, if I used 1.00 or 1.2 wire and reduced the wire speed?
Does the wire diameter affect the amps/voltage ratio weld penetration when Spray Welding????.......
Below are pictures of the welder settings and some of the welds, I know one of the welds was done at C3 F4 by mistake..(bracket.8).................
Any advice welcome...
