My Mrs is terrified. The picture was the 3rd and biggest of the night

I put them outside

The cat occasionally catches them, and even brings the big ones in, sometimes she even catches them again.....

Hate the things. Was rifling in my tool bag in the workshop earlier, looked down and I was just about to grab hold of an absolute monster that had taken up residence. Fairly sure it was waving a 3/8 ratchet at me

When I was fitting smart meters I saw an absolute monster, went to whack it with my grips, it grabbed them and whacked me back

We breed them in the Pantry, it helps keep one stepdaughter out of it, the other stepdaughter hates snakes, but the wife won't let me keep one......................

Im happy about the spiders we have in the UK
Having worked in Ghana & SA, and spent some time in Auz, the spiders in the UK are a refreshing change, the biggest spider i have encountered was a baboon spider.

Was in the field where we were working, so was shooing it away with my hat, that was OK, until it got bored of that game, stopped, turned round and raised its front legs in the air showing a set of 20mm fangs. it got a stick thrown at it then.

Walking into spider webs in the garden the wondering where it's gone too and finding it crawling up your T shirt .... arggghhh

my vans and truck always have them in the corners of the inside front screen...i leave them be as the webs catch them bastttidd flys that do your head in..i hate flys more than anything.

I watched a spider daily when I was on holiday
It sat motionless in it web for days on end . You can learn a lot about patience and perseverance from such a tiny creature

If it wasn't for flies we'd be knee deep in poop, animal carcases and rotting vegetation. If it wasn't for spiders we'd be knee deep in flies!
Spiders never worry me, I hate killing them for SWMBO.
