I did but honestly I fell in love with this one if I had the money I’d buy it in a heartbeat

'Tis indeed a beautiful piece of design.
Curious, the two side views appear to be one side view, mirrored - unless it has shaft drive both sides?

You could buy a few really good bikes for that sort of money. I would have more fun with a Velocette Thruxton or BSA Goldstar.
I’m not into bikes like that personally
I do like really really old bikes as in 1910-1930’s but couldn’t live with the ride or reliability
A tradition that the British motorcycle industry sadly kept up until the 1970's, by which time they were all (mostly) extinct. Although looking at the prototypes in the National Motorcycle Museum, what could have been with some investment!
Having said that I too would happily give room to any old Brit bike. I do still ride regularly but on BMW's
I think most old bikes are only as good as their last rebuild. I have done big mileages on old bikes -just tended to be more maintenance than a modern bike. Low stressed old 1950's singles can be very reliable. I had my most breakdowns on a 1978 Honda CB550 I had in the late 80's and my most frightening failure on a 2001 BMW R1100S that suffered failure of the power assisted linked braking system going down a mountain road.A tradition that the British motorcycle industry sadly kept up until the 1970's, by which time they were all (mostly) extinct. There not for riding, they are for looking at.I wouldnt like to be riding that in a cross wind
Lol. Can also put them in a 2 wheel drift and recover itI love supermotos, such a fun bike to ride as you can’t do more than a ton but you can wheelie until you almost fall off the back and realise your not a riding god
Always fancied a goYou?
