I tend to view most of these things like that. Especially on Facebook but at the same time I can imagine a product like it one day.In my opinion, purest snake oil.

Year that's what I have got. As you say it's worked great so far. Hence me asking the question. It is supplied in a 10lt bucket in Greece. To scared to try it….
There is a water based rubberised paint to seal solid concrete flat roofs and I have admit it works very well…
Did you work for Bodgit and Scarper at the time ?Snake oil, But sometimes such things can be useful, I once worked on a 36ft Gin palce motor boat that had had a bad fire. It was American & unlike British built boats was fitted out with full fire retardant upholstery & head linings. The entire inside of the hull was coated in a layer of tarry smoke residue that had baked on & couldnt be washed off, We tried everything & it was literally like stove enamel that stank.
Then i had a brainwave & tried a can of stone chip protector. Blow me down it covered in one! So off to the Motor factors & a case of Schutz & a gun. We did the whole interior of the hull, lockers, bilge the lot! sealed the stink in & looked a million dollars!
I hope it stayed on.
