Bit of a different tack for me
I'm wanting a "smart" watch - as in online/connected.
Budget a couple of hundred quid if I must, but would prefer 80-120.
Must do:
Step counting.
Notification vibration.
Waterproof to 10m? I don't scuba dive, so unlikely to ever go further than 20ft down (diving area in swimming pool - but I do regularly get to 16ft).
I'd prefer it to be an analog watch, rather than have a clock face on a LCD display: I don't want an anonymous black rubber band.
It has to look like a (reasonable quality) watch.
GOOD STRONG strap. I've lost/wrecked a few whilst working. This is *THE* most important bit.
It doesn't have to be indestructible, as long as it's replaceable.
Bonus:
Heart rate monitor (and O2 maybe?)
I don't need GPS.
Battery life not necessarily an issue, as I can charge every night - but I don't want a battery that loses capacity after 6months so I have to replace the watch!
Anything else I need to consider?
I like the look of the fossil hybrids, but it's difficult to get a fair comparison of brands as most of the review pages seem more about Amazon affiliate links :-(
