Some of us who were stationed in northern Germany were lucky enough to score a tank suit - there was absolutely nothing to compare to the comfort of these down lined sleeping bags with legs.

One feature was really quite strange. there were two zips - one running from the right collar bone to the right ankle and the second on the left side of the body. When both these zips were completely undone the whole front of the suit flapped down between the legs to give the appearance from a distance that the user was wearing an animal skin with a long fat tail.
As a sapper, even though we operated in armoured personnel carriers with the commander (me) sticking out of a hatch like Rommel, we were not considered entitled to be issued with such luxury items so we bought them on the black market - usually torn, smelly and greasy.
Mine was patched with duct tape and had big black stains over half of it but I wouldn’t have swapped it for 20 great coats.
You could use some of youre internet movie star earnings and purchase a nice camper van with an esbacher heater
I was at a breakdown today near to a "go outdoors" shop.
They had a 60% sale on. Came away with a "TF Gear sleeping bag".
As used by the fishing community, not a light weight but it feels nice.
