That'd work for anyone without a printer....But in essence I haven't found a source of nylon bar that size and shape.that or Nylon bar
Started making one out of angle, welded short pieces of bar to it, didn't like it. So I then folded some galvi plate that I have a lot of and then needed something to spread the load. Got a few 3d printers and plenty of PLA....so it's was a no brainer. Probably cut the bottom off it and refold. Just sick of the things falling on the floor.I hang mine on a piece of angle fixed to the timber back-splash of my lathe, but that method works well too.
How much did you pay...if you don't mind? Same sort of thing?I bought mine from eBay, someone there was 3D printing them.
There doesn't seem to be proprietory one available? Or maybe there is at an exorbitant price?Mine's a piece of Unistrut with Aldi right-angle brackets and short roofing bolts into the Zebedee nuts - fine for my needs

No..problem...There's no such thing as an 'original' idea any more. World population rules that out. Can't remember now, it was ages ago and predates my stored eBay "Purchase history" but it wasn't extortionate.
I'll stick up a pic when I'm next in the cave [could be mid week].
BTW purchase history works better on the app.
...Being a cheapskate...
I like the cost saving....but I'll carry on... got 3 so far. Keep thinking of making an injection moulder. Used one many, many, years ago. Simple hand operated one with nylon pellets. Print a protype (which is what 3d printers were designed for, not production runs), cast an aluminium mould and inject the plastic. This time next year Rodney.....If that is the case, would they work as only half the current length with one screw hole? On a sloping board the weight of tool plus holder would keep it located. You might have to store them with the pointy end downwards - will help safety and could improve weight distribution.
My CDO is agitated by the countersunk screw - a keyhole slot in the back for an invisible fixing would calm it down.

Is that fertilzer/moss killer or an accident? No rush about the bits....just idle curiosity. Too time consuming 3d printing them. Would have to charge ~£2 each to make it worth while. Plus I don't need a business as I provided for my old age long ago. Injection moulding on other hand......is a different proposition.I've not forgotten you, but I sprayed iron sulphate on the grass yesterday and don't want to leave footprints crossing it (or in the house) to get to the cave .
