Can we assume you saw it at a place of work you visited? I'd like to see the machine which could accommodate that.

That Woden 100/2 is awesome. I think having one of those would be the most fun you could have without taking your clothes off.
Anyway, the moment didn't last too long, and I just couldn't resist stripping it down, tuning it up, and giving it a new green suit.

It was seen at a place of work and one where taking photos is not permitted (large U.K. Based Aero engine manufacturer) but it was too good a vice to miss the opportunity to take a snap.
It looked like it was still used occasionally so I couldn't acquire it and it was way too big to just slip it in my bag when no one was looking.

i need a bit of help with this one. i bought two of these from a carboot recently i intend using them on the mill or clamping awkward shaped things. can anyone identify who makes them and what they were made for. i know they're not a bench vice but i thought i could tap into the wealth of experts on here. They are made to fix to some machine as they have T slot grooves underneath they are really well made the head floats and the two jaws float on the top it says mc1630 and patt w&w i can put more pics if needed cheers guys

Was gifted this today, I will get when owner retires at the end of this year.
A little workshop what would make anything. Plus he has a decent coffee.

I know it's not a bench vice, but I've just bought a Record 53A wood vice. Been looking for a 1950s handle one for ages to match my 34P (I'm pedantic like that). My Woden one is a pain to use and to be honest 7 inches will never win against 10 1/2!
