Speaking of crowbar's, I just cut one up for the centre section, to use for fabricating a side stand mount for the BSA Bantam bike acquired last year.
Just one!! Even if it was a big one you did wellNever knew there was so much to an anvil till I read this thread so acquired this suspension tester the other day in an effort to join the club. So they're common as muck then and my generous offer was wastedIt's exactly the same as mine, as well: I swapped mine for a bottle of (good) whiskey. I got a "tinkers anvil" with it as well though.

As long as your happy it’s not wastedSo they're common as muck then and my generous offer was wasted![]()

It should clean up nicely as 500e mentioned,Did a small wood turning job for a friend the other week and when he collected it he asked " did I want an anvil" Well ,after all, it was a small job.

and I see currently there are a few of these tiny novelties on the bay of evil; ranging in outrageous prices from £44. > £95. pounds.
I've had one for a long time, and and although a bit of fun, its crudely made and not really worth the price of postage. Just a heads up for anyone thinking they are something special and spending their hard earned money on one.
Since I went to the bother of modelling my anvil stand, swage block stand etc. in Sketchup, I thought I might as well print one…
Maybe @mrsbruce would like one of those for the dioramas she builds? Would look good in a smithy/workshop setting
.
