Best thing about the 'fiddly gold how rich am i stuff' is yer do one in the street, their next door neighbour comes to see you, - err, i want the same but bigger/better/more expensive/more scrolls etc, then their neighbour comes to see you...etc etc etc hehe.

Yes there not ott hight wise, although there 7' Iv got 4 more to do water side, bet it wont be too long before one of the animals who drive the fork trucks hits them

Yeah but I wasn't armed with anything but an arc (wot I was p*55 poor at) in those days! Besides which - my clients pay me more for my time (god that sounds dodgy and no, not on duvet days ).

So here are our bought gates, nothing fancy but they work well, keep the dogs in and compliment the building. They're not quite 'off the shelf' as we had to get some modifications done. In the same spirit of keeping our building as a no-nonsense-built-for-the-purpose (work!) environment, when it was completely re-wired (and despite having v little money at the time) all the sockets & switches are industrial surface metal clad and the conduit is galv. (which is a pain every time I put a spur in! but I still appreciate the look of it), so the gates echo these as well.
