I still can't figure what possessed a ginger to take a job working outside.

I'll expect a call from my mum soon then . . . in a panic 'cos the display on her central heating controller is showing 27 degrees or more - and she hasn't set it to that, so it must be about the boiler trying to get it that hot . . . will not believe me when I say its simply telling her the ambient temp . . . even when I ask "is the boiler on" . . . "no" . . . well then . . .

Been to my fathers birthday today, car said 41° mid afternoon, was more realistically 31° the workshop at work will be an oven, like most summers.

I have a very manageable 22° in the workshop at the moment. That's despite it having a black Onduline roof.

That's a breathable membrane, 12mm plywood lining and 100mm of Rockwool insulation doing its thing!

Get some insulated panels on the roof. Warm in winter, cool in summer, no rusting parts inside.
