Great start to the new year.... friend of mine who lived opposite us in the Philippines, thought it would be a good idea to video call me and tell me what a brilliant time he is having over there, and showed me video of the dream house I built there, that I lost in the divorce six years ago, and introduced me to who is now living in it...... wonderful..thanks mate.......

Happy & healthy new year to you all. We watched saw the new year in as usual, went to bed and at 2:30am got woken up by some prat letting off large fireworks. Dog was terrified, Inconsiderate ********.

A bit harsh, poor thing can't help being scared

We just about managed to keep our cat from having a melt down, all sat on the sofa watching the TV fireworks that don't bother him, even with the surround sound. Curtains drawn and him happy on a lap I think he got confused. Luckily not too many outside here.
