Seeing in the new year

We had fireworks non stop for 30 minutes at midnight, then again at 1o'clock for 15 minutes, every year the home displays seem to get bigger by me.

Got to agree. First divorce cost me big time (the house is at the other end of the village, which I pass regularly and couldn't care less) , the second one cost less at 30 grand. Got back on my feet and now happily married for 20 years, owe nothing and enjoy life.

Let it go, you will feel better for it.

I could vaguely hear some in the distance, until silly o'clock, but none in my part of the village.

Nice one. Had a quietish one here, idiots with fireworks had shot their loads before midnight.

My first gig was iron maiden back in 83, guess which idiot always used to stand next to the speakers and now has tinnitus. Ive still got nicko mcbrains autograph somewhere, eldest was in a local pub, the landlord also had a drum business and he had popped in to talk shop.

I was also putting off watching “SAS ROGUE HEROES” then the soundtrack popped up on spotify , its well worth a watch

Went to bed at 10pm, read for an hour, put the light out.

Drying them out or cooking them , sorry my humour is as bad , as this evil flu I've been carrying inside me for three weeks.. Will be AFKB for a few week whilst I hibernate a recovery and stop making 43 typo's etc. in such a short post .

The Ukrainian refugees staying in our home mum & 7 yr old son had their new year celebration two hours ahead of the UK time amid a few tears and news of that maniac /Nutter Putin ordering even more terror attacks in the Ukraine.
