The trouble is if you turn the lights out before bed time it will be THE FEAR OF THE DARK.

I'm home alone, as usual, but tonight I also have the daughters dog to baby sit. He is a lovely little fella, why, as soon as we got back from a long walk he leapt on my bed and lay down, leaving a big dirty wet patch where his belly was soaking wet..... oh how I laughed....

Now they are both laying quietly in their beds..... it won't last.....

For many years we would go to the yacht club on new years eve & it was always a great night. It started to die about 5 years ago & no longer takes place.
A mix of parties at home & apathy means a feedback loop of resignation.
So me & my good lady will stay in & watch Jools hootenanny.
Poxy fireworks going off already & scaring the dog.

Just finished off my Xmas whiskey ,and shared a bottle of prosecco with the missus so now starting a bottle of malbec . Waiting for the fireworks from the large country hotel about 1/4 mile behind my house.

decided to have a drink tonight and the kraken coffee and tia maria cocktail i just invented was way to sweet. then i remembered the air dried ham my m8 bought me for christmas salty goodness, third slice in the included knife bogged then skipped right into my left middle finger tip, hitting the bone, my nail stopped it going further only about 3/4" but bloody hell blood everywhere
